33 years of your accumulated contributions, participation and generosity is the tidal flow that comes from an ever growing community of supporters, from the thousands of hours of their lives, from the thousands of dollars of generosity and from the ever glowing torch of absolute dedication from the Children's Hospitals.
The spirit of the Tournament drives us forth in the knowledge that our decades-long focus has brought cure, care, comfort, relief and sometimes joy to the children and their parents and every dollar has brought us an inch or a mile closer to a cure for pediatric brain cancer.
This will be my 33rd year playing this Tournament, clearly, on the ice, my "best before" date has long expired, but every year I see what was achieved at the Medical and Awareness levels, then I can see the smiles of children, the relief of parents and the immeasurable gift of a ray of hope.... and I keep on playing.
All of you have been warriors in our battles and have shared the rewards of victory, let us march on to end the war, as we can only do together.
