Welcome, and thank you for being here.

This year, I’m riding in the Montreal Children’s fundraiser—Pedaling for Kids—in honor of my late daughter, Violet Vezina.

Violet spent the first seven months of her life at the Montreal Children’s Hospital. Those months were filled with uncertainty, fear, and hope—but above all, courage. Violet showed us what true strength looks like. Though her time with us was far too short, her impact is everlasting.

When I think of Violet, I think of bravery.

And when I walked through the halls the Montreal Children’s Hospital, I only saw that same bravery in every child and every family. These children face challenges no child ever should, yet they do so with resilience that humbles me beyond words.

Your support will help:

Improve the delivery of care: Better designed and additional treatment rooms will optimize the clinic’s structure.
Accessibility and inclusion: New equipment and sensory-adapted spaces, including wheelchair access, visual and tactile aids, and communication tools will be implemented.
Advance expertise: Dedicated teaching and research spaces will train the next generation of dental professionals.
