Dear Friends and Family,

Every child deserves the best possible medical care and I've seen firsthand just how life changing that care can be.

This year marks my 15th year participating in the Pedal for Kids ride to raise funds for the Montreal Children's Hospital, and my 8th year as part of the organizing committee. What started as a personal mission has grown into something I look forward to every single year... a way to give back to an institution that gave so much to my family.

This cause is deeply personal to me.

In 2009, my son was just 7 months old when the Montreal Children's Hospital stepped into our lives. They cared for him from that very first moment all the way until he turned 18 years old...over 17 years of follow-ups, expertise, compassion, and reassurance. The hospital didn't just treat my son; they walked alongside our entire family through some of the most uncertain and emotional moments of our lives.

What makes this place so extraordinary isn't only the world-class medicine, it's the people. The doctors, nurses, technical specialists, and support staff go far beyond their job titles. They take the time to listen, to comfort, and to genuinely care for families during the hardest moments. They treat every child like their own, and every parent like part of the family. That kind of compassion is rare, and it leaves a lasting mark.

That's why I ride. That's why I keep coming back. And that's why I'm asking for your help.
