Goudie Lab in Gear
We are participating in Pedal for Kids 2025 with our fearless leader, Dr. Catherine Goudie, a pediatric hematologist-oncologist and clinician-scientist.
Together we are raising funds for the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation (MCHF), a longtime supporter of the Goudie lab and our cancer predisposition syndrome research and clinical work.
Established in 2018, our cancer predisposition clinic has met with over 250 patients and families thus far. We also help coordinate the care/treatment of children undergoing targeted therapies thanks to precision medicine findings. We are one of only a small number of clinics like this across Canada. Every dollar donated helps support unique and life-changing work through the MCHF.
Our research predates the clinic, focused on the McGill Interactive Pediatric Oncogenetic Guidelines (MIPOGG). This e-health app is freely accessible worldwide and helps in the identification and prioritization of which children with cancer should be referred to medical genetics. Through MIPOGG, the Goudie lab has collaborated with teams across Canada and internationally. With the MCHF’s support, among other supporters, we have been able to make updates to MIPOGG and adapt it to better meet the needs of healthcare teams worldwide.
Please make a donation today and help us reach our fundraising goal!
