At 4.5 years old, Jonah faced Wilms tumor, a rare kidney cancer. For 14 months, our world revolved around the incredible Pediatric Hematology Oncology team at Montreal Children's Hospital, with Sarah's floor on 7B becoming our second home. Countless hours, multiple weekly visits for chemo, and more overnights than any child should endure became our reality. The care and compassion shown to Jonah and our family is etched in our hearts. Nurses, Doctors the Child Life team and staff became our extended family. Jonah left us on November 15, 2023, just two months before turning 6. In his memory, I'm honoured that all contributions to The Jonah Doyle-Sarraf Fund will go to Sarah's Fund, a program that brings comfort and care to children with cancer and their families on Sarahs Floor (7B) at the Montreal Children's Hospital.
It's a personal tribute to Jonah's legacy, knowing donations in his name will profoundly impact other children's journey to better health.
